Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar’s birth took place in the valleys deep inside the Himalayan Mountains. These mountains are ever brimming with metaphysical energy, the cause for them to be termed the Land of Holy Spirits or Dev Bhumi: Himachal Pradesh.Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar’s childhood was dotted with spiritual experiences, being surrounded by these cosmic forces, he then became entwined in the ways, practices and knowledge of the Himalayas. His early childhood was spent among the Sadhus, Sanyasis and Monks who roamed deep within the mountains. He became a descendant who inherits the divine blessings of the Maha Himalayas. Being from a Military family, he travelled the Nation but ensured to return to the Himalayas every year to learn more and go deeper into his practices. With every visit, His Guru Mandala revealed more and more as he grew in his Spiritual plane. He was taught Yogic asanas, Pranayama, Dhyan and Spiritual practices.
As a disciple of Himalayan traditions, he was trained in powerful domains to receive the blessings and powers of the reigning Energy. Places such as Serolsar Lake, a mystic body of water atop a mountain that is guarded by a deity known as the Elder Goddess of serpents. Hadimba Devi’s sanctum of penance, where a powerful entity whose birth was among negative forces, which she overcame through her powerful penance to win her place among the enlightened beings. He travelled to some of the upper reaches of the world, to Pir Panjal mountain ranges, Parvati Valley, Chandra Tal and Surya Tal to continue his practices and inherit the offerings of the reigning Energies. His austerities took him to many secluded caves atop mystic mountains. He continued along his spiritual path as he paid his offerings to many sacred places such as the Sanctum of Hanogi Devi, a reigning Goddess whose presence and force can be felt to this day, the Sanctum built for the Great Sage Vashisht, where an arrow shot into the mountain sprouted hot springs with healing waters that are flowing even today, filled with healing properties. His places of practice are dotted all across the Himalayan mountains, each bearing their own powerful significance in his journey. These austerities prepared him both for this world and a world beyond.
He now concentrates all his energy on sharing, spreading and revealing the teachings and knowledge of the Himalayas with the people of the world to equip them to live a life of fulfilment and perfection. travels the world intensely and has trained 3000 teachers over the last decade. These teachers in turn spread the knowledge of the Himalayas to all parts of the globe. Over 20 million people all over the world have benefitted from his teachings. Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar has inherited the culture of “ Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam “, it is his ambition and his belief that all the world is one family and we must strive to learn, grow and evolve together as one.
Apart from creating an international network of teachers who can spread and share the teachings of Yoga and Spirituality, Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar has taken efforts to ensure that individuals from underprivileged backgrounds, especially young children with special needs, are also taught Yoga and Spirituality. It is his earnest belief that Yoga and Spirituality are the means to a beautiful existence, wherever in the world one may be and however difficult life may be.
Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar is now working on providing research based Yogic techniques and formulae to tackle various present day issues such as stress, anxiety, depression and other lifestyle disorders that are widely affecting the global health of humanity. He earnestly campaigns for an Obesity Free World by spreading the message of Yogic and spiritual practices for a holistically healthy body and lifestyle.
He has led his community of practitioners in joint, global celebration of the International Yoga Day, every year since its Birth. The festival is the fruit of the glorious efforts by the Honorable Prime Minister of our Nation, Sri Narendra Modi ji. What began as a motion by the leader of a young Nation is now an International Festival of peace, health and happiness. Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar proudly upholds this tradition and ensures that the community of Yogis are both self-sustained and also a part of spreading the teachings and practices of Yoga and Spirituality to others.
